The NeoGraft® Process
Step 1. Donor Hair Removal
All in all, the NeoGraft® procedure is very straightforward. To begin, your hair transplant surgeon will remove hair from the back of your head. The back of your head makes for an excellent donor area because the hair there is genetically conditioned to resist testosterone.
Step 2. Follicular Unit Extraction
After donor hair removal comes follicular unit extraction. Your hair transplant surgeon will withdraw grafts with similar diameter and length. The result? An increased take rate, saving you valuable time.
Step 3. Creation of the Recipient sites
Next, your hair transplant surgeon will create recipient sites at the perfect angle and orientation in correspondence with the hair transplant plan that has been specifically created for you.
Step 4. Placement of the Hair Graft
Last, your hair transplant surgeon will group follicular units by size, then transplant the grafts into the balding areas on your scalp. Each graft is carefully harvested as it naturally occurs and implanted one at a time. This gives you healthy, full, natural-looking results.
